Today would have been my mom's 86th birthday instead she passed 13 years ago. It does not feel as if it has been that long. Time just keeps on moving and if we are wise we will too as long as we have breath in our bodies. My mom was my first introduction to this world of sewing. She was an excellent seamstress and I always looked up to her. When I began to sew because of her influence, she was the bar to which I always tried to reach. If my sewing teacher in school said my project was an A, I did not rest until I took it home and my mother critiqued it. If she said it was good, then it was good. I certainly do miss her but I know she is as rest.
Happy 86th birthday Mom. You are loved and missed dearly.
